Artwalk venues work as a consortium to manage the Artwalk and all venues programme their own exhibitions and events.
To participate in the Artwalk venues pay a fee of £85 plus VAT per calendar year. Venues joining part way through the year will be charged pro-rata for the remainder of the year. All venue fees are put towards marketing costs, including the leaflet and website. No profit is made from coordinating the event. Venue fees are administered through The Art House.
Venues do not have to take part in every event. However, those who are able to open regularly and be open for the full period of 5 -9pm do often find they attract greater visitor numbers.
If you are a not-for-profit organisation with a space for a temporary period only, not operated by a commercial partner, it may be possible for you to join the Artwalk for a shorter time. If this applies to you please contact us.
